Business Connectivity

Our business connectivity products are suitable for every type and size of customer. We offer a full suite of Fibre Broadband products including Fibre-to-the-Cabinet (FTTC and G.FAST), Fibre-to-the-Premises (FTTP), as well as ADSL Broadband.

Broadband is a service that enables customers to connect to the internet over a shared fixed infrastructure (access line). It is an asymmetrical service, meaning that the download speed is greater than the upload speed. At the customer’s premises, a modem or wireless router solution provides local network features such as Wi-Fi and acts as the gateway for the customer’s devices to access the internet. It is an always on, reliable, and cost effective service.

Fibre-to-the-Premises (FTTP)

Ultrafast Full-Fibre Broadband

  • An all fibre connection from exchange to the premises.
  • Up to 330Mbps download, 50Mbps upload.
  • Unlike copper Broadband products, there’s no speed loss over distance.
  • Unlike ADSL/FTTC technology, no line rental is required.

Why Ultrafast Full-Fibre Broadband?

The increased speed and reduced latency enable you to take full advantage of bandwidth intensive tasks and real time applications in the cloud.

Fibre-to-the-Cabinet (FTTC) - Superfast Fibre Broadband

  • Delivered using Fibre to the green road side cabinet and then a short copper line to the premises.
  • Up to 80Mbps download, 20Mbps upload.
  • Speed is governed by the quality and length of the copper line.
  • Cost effective.
  • Ideal if you need the extra speed, reliability and low latency that real-time applications demand.

G.FAST - Ultrafast Fibre Broadband

  • A faster form of FTTC, delivered using Fibre to the green road side cabinet and then a short copper line to the premises.
  • G.Fast technology in the street cabinet provides greater download speeds (up to 330Mbps) and upload speeds (up to 50Mbps) than FTTC.
  • Speed is governed by the quality and length of the copper line.

ADSL Broadband

  • Delivered using a copper line between the exchange and the customer’s premises.
  • Download speed up to 17Mbps, upload speed of up to 1Mbps.
  • Speed is governed by the quality and length of the copper line.

Where available, Fibre Broadband is recommended.
